Natale a Firenze / Christmas in Florence: By video

I’m so excited!! This is the first video shared to my new YouTube channel and the blog. This is just the beginning. How exciting! I simply could not get over how beautiful and festive Florence was for Christmas, and I hope you enjoy this little escape backwards to a happier time (even though it’s May and nowhere near the holiday season).

let’s rewind to december 2019 when everything was great and normal and my friend Isa and I went on a weekend trip to florence. though stuck at home I’ve been doing a fair share of ‘armchair traveling’ and I just finished the medici series season 3 (amazing btw) and it made me SO homesick for florence. so of course I’ve been looking back at my highlights from trips there and even photos from when I lived there and decided to compile a video from my last trip to bella firenze, right before christmas. I know I know it’s not even summer but this video has me already thinking about the cozy holiday season of 2020 and hoping for the best. in the meantime, a little escape backwards in time to one of my favorite cities dressed in its christmas best…
