Photos from a day in Florence

I had originally published these photos with my Florence guide, but decided they were better when viewed on their own. A day around Florence…la dolce vita at its finest. Some of my favorite places, including sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo, all the museums and gardens my heart desires, the Duomo and the Arno at dusk (or the beloved blue hour), and Piazza della Repubblica at night when it becomes a rowdy meeting spot lit by the carousel. There’s so much love and nostalgia in each of these photos for me, a reminder of my Florentine life that I was so lucky to live, and hope to return to again and again…
