I posted this first on IGTV, but wanted it to live on the blog too, of course! Ten minutes worth of pure joy and happiness living in beautiful Roma. I’m coming up on the one year anniversary of moving there, which brings up so many emotions that I’m not going to try to process here (mostly made complicated by heartbreak and the state of the world today and not knowing when I’ll be back).
In happier news, I’m slowly getting in the hang of video editing, and I know that next time I travel, vlogging the experience will be forefront in my mind. Right now it has proven to be a way to relive my favorite travel moments by creating videos out of the content I have, while staying home. There’s just something so magical about video and the emotion it captures!
I’m slowly adding the travel videos I make to my YouTube channel from my IGTV, so thanks for your patience. If you have a preferred way to view these videos, let me know. Or, if you have any vlogs you’d like to see in the future, let me know in the comments!

making this video has been a goal of mine for A WHILE and so I am beyond excited to share it now. it’s ten minutes worth of video from the 3 months I spent living in rome in the fall, the best of my life yet. I hope it makes you happy, especially for all of my friends in italy…all of it was filmed with awe and gratitude, in a city with its own heartbeat, so frequently full of people. it is so special to me and when I watch it, I am reminded of home. since my friend Isa might be featured in it more times than me (maybe) and she was my true partner in crime, I’m dedicating it to her for her birthday. TANTI AUGURI, AMICA MIA!! ti amooo! and of course the biggest grazie & tanti abbracci to my host family who took such great care of me the whole time. settle in for a viewing today with a cappuccino or a cocktail…
