Introducing travel guides on Thatch

As long-time readers know, I love putting together travel guides for favourite destinations all across the world. Over Christmas break, while I had a lot of time to myself, cosy by the fire in my parent’s house in Minnesota, I finally started translating my guides to a new platform called Thatch. It seemed like the perfect way to offer my guides to the world—plus Thatch isn’t just a website, it’s also an app that makes traveling easier. If you buy a guide, you also get the most updated version, forever.

I’ve been circulating screenshots of my Rome guide for years, so it really felt like time to release it to everyone, and add a small cost for the work I’ve put into it. The nice thing about Thatch, though, is that there are also free resources. So if you visit my profile, you’ll see I have a mix of free and for-purchase guides. It’s also a great tool for planning trips—not only can you browse inspiration on the app and purchase guides like the ones I’ve made for Rome, but you can also create your own guides that include your itinerary, the weather at your destination, restaurants, landmarks, etc. And what I love is that Thatch automatically creates a map out of your guide, which connects to Google and Apple Maps. It literally couldn’t be easier to organise your travel.

As someone who has always loved the planning aspect of travel, I’m so glad my friend introduced me to Thatch. Right now, I have three guides available on the platform:

Eventually I’ll post a little more about each of these. For now, I’m so excited to announce that my guides are available for everyone—I hope they make your trip to Rome that much more special and beautiful. And of course for my loyal blog readers, I have a code for you. Insert BLOG at checkout and you’ll get 15% off. Thanks for being here, and for being patient with me as I’ve taken a long hiatus from writing here. Happy to be back. xx Maggie
