European moments

I’m not going to lie, I lived my best life and was my favorite version of myself when I lived in Europe. There are a lot of things I miss about being on that continent, including the lifestyle that Europeans embrace and the cultural norms that are pretty much non-existent in America.

For this post, I’ve made a list of moments when I feel most like I’m in Europe, (when I’m loving life and feel like I’m really living). I hope by creating this list, I can more consciously recreate these moments in my day-to-day life, until I can return to Europe!

Drinking espresso.

Speaking Italian.

Walking to the store.

Learning something new about a language.

Taking trains and subways.

Short flights where all I do is journal, listen to music, and read.

Drinking an Aperol Spritz.

Eating good pasta.

Having a slow-paced dinner with plenty of great wine and equally great conversation.

Having said great conversations sans cellphones.

Being adventurous by going out with people I may not know well, but vowing to make the most of it anyways.

Sipping Limoncello.

Dancing to music on a night out for as long as my heart desires.
